Product description
Text by Abbie Moulton, photography by Maria Bell.
‘British Wine’ was once shorthand for bad imported grape mush. Not any more. The rise of sustainable methods, youthful experimentation and, dare we say it, a new climate, mean that Britain is no longer the home of a few fine sparklings but a whole roster of dynamic reds, pinks and even oranges. This book celebrates the people who are growing, producing and championing the best of New British Wine.
Abbie Moulton is a drinks writer, broadcaster and presenter, specialising in wine and whisky – the people who make them and the places that pour them. Her work has been featured in the Evening Standard, The Times and Suitcase magazine, among other publications, and she regularly chats on the radio and on podcasts.
Maria Bell is a freelance photographer based between the Isle of Wight and London. Her career documenting food and farming has seen her work alongside the industry’s top chefs and restaurants and featured in national newspapers and books. In 2021, she was shortlisted for the Food Photographer of the Year award.

Very pleased with this. It's a simple design, but keeps the pens well protected. The wooden material is very thick.
The description says it holds 9 pens, which is a bit optimistic, as there are only 6 pouches in the case.
I've bought this pen to match with the trim on a fabric diary and it just looks so stylish!
I use fountain pen but was hooked on this one in the shop. Writes exceedingly well: smooth, fast, dry instantly. Very useful!
It is fun, yellow which I love and witty cats which I love even more ! Speedy delivery too.
Finally I have found a planner that gives me all I need - a monthly overview, 2 pages for each week as well with plenty of space for lists of things to do and notes and whatever you want to write for each day. PLUS pages at the back for more notes! Lovely cover and good quality paper. Well done!
Much more fun and meaningful than something saccharin and cheesy
Favourite ever notebooks, gorgeous colours and excellent quality for my fountain pen obsession! Used them for years for my morning pages and can’t wait to buy the A6 size.
I've bought about 4 of these notebooks to journal in and I absolutely adore them. They are beautiful in design, with high-quality paper and seem to last forever. More colours would be fantastic!
....but a lovely pencil. I bought it for my choir music file, haven't had a chance to use it yet but looks excellent
Love the design of this pocket pencil. So lightweight & just fits beautifully in my hand. Will be purchasing more.
Perfect size and layout for all my diary needs. Gorgeous quality of paper and a perfect lavender blue. Love it
It’s the perfect black fineliner!
Best shopping ever! I bought the same item from their official website before, but the product page had many flaws and the price was very high.
This time, I was surprised by how quickly and smoothly the delivery arrived, especially since receiving packages at my house is difficult. The the price was affordable. Although I chose premium shipping, I used a half-price coupon when I bought it, making it cheaper than the official website.
Most importantly, Papersmiths' quality is excellent, everything is just perfect. Can you believe they even wrapped it and included a handwritten greeting card with my name on it! It definitely made my day and will probably make my year. These small details and kindness are more precious than anything else.
I love this planner- last year I used another and didn’t accomplish as many goals as I normally do when I use the daily goal digger. I’m so pleased I got a 2026 version. Excellent quality, with goal setting and reflection for daily life and big picture goals. It looks handsome in black. Also Papersmiths is the best place to purchase - super fast delivery and a hand written note- just lovely- it’s never too late to ditch your current system and get one that actually works for you!
I wanted to stop buying reusable pens so bought a cost effective fountain pen and this does the job perfectly. It is nicely designed, small and neat and writes beautifully. I am using the ink cartridge but also bought the converter to use just ink. Very pleased with it.
